That's it. Leaving in less than 24 hours for Leh via Zurich and Delhi. My 12 days trekking in Ladakh will begin after 4 full days of acclimatization to the thinner air above 3,500m, visiting buddhists monasteries, the only reasonable way to gradually prepare the body to the couple of 5,000 meters Himalayan hills we'll eat on our way - and I suspect to also prepare the mind for the inside walk to come. This walk in paradise will end up with a quick journey to Delhi and Agra where proof of love rhymes with touristic devotion.
Some have asked for prayer flags, others for box of matches, stoles, beenies, life upload of pictures, tweets and more unusual: postcards :-) Connected at 100% I will be. To nature, humanity and my inner being, for a change. Don't expect any other connection whatsoever. Peeling away the business, the civilian and the familial skins that make my life so rich here and that I'm happily putting aside for a couple of weeks knowing Ill come back to them all stronger, wiser and amazingly enriched.
For the last couple of months, pictures from fellow trekkers made me dream of this Little Tibet. My eyes are already full of these breath taking landscapes. To those who ask for pictures, this is just an appetizer. See you mid-September.
